What is a Home Stager?

Home Stagers basically "neutralize" a home's decor in order for buyers to see its potential rather than the current owners' design choices. Stagers are experts in accenting positive features of a home by strategically placing furniture, bedding, and accessories, therefore increasing the probability of earning top dollar for the property.

Not every buyer can imagine how their furniture or paint choices will look when they see something totally different in front of them. First impressions are the most lasting impressions, and buyers will not see an ideal layout, high end finishes or deluxe upgrades if there is personal clutter, bold design choices or too much furniture blocking it; all buyers will see is work they have to do in order to make it a house they can live in. Home stagers understand this and try to style a design or flow that works for the space. Usually using a lot of existing items, they re-arrange and re-style to make the most of your unique property.
